Using the Math Formula Editor
The CNOWv2 Math Formula Editor allows you to quickly enter expressions, symbols, and notation in questions for both math and Chemistry disciplines. Clicking the Insert Math Formula icon in the Question Editor opens the math editor where you can choose from several tabs supplying an extensive toolset of options.

Note: The Chemistry Formula Editor provides basic options and is the same editor students use when creating their response.Math Formula Editor, however, supplies more advanced options for creating both chemical and math formulae.
Mousing over individual icons displays their names. To insert an option, click the editing field at the appropriate location and click an icon to position it at the location of your cursor. For notation requiring it, you can then enter the appropriate values or symbols in the blank input fields.
Global ToolbarUse the controls at the top of the math editor to Undo your last action, Redo (a previous "undo"), Clear the editing field of all content, or open a Help interface with information specific to the editor tab you have open.
