Authoring in CengageNOWv2

CengageNOWv2 supplies an Instructor Authoring system you can use to author and modify your own questions.

When your self-authored questions are complete, you can publish them to the CNOWv2 content banks where they become available for placement in your Homework and Test assignments. When selecting assignment content from the Available Items page, your questions appear in the Self-Authored Questions section. If your questions are organized into folders on the Instructor Authoring page, that same folder hierarchy is maintained when you are selecting assignment content.

You can access the Instructor Authoring page from the following locations in CNOWv2:

• From the Assignments page, click the Self-Authored Questions link at the top of the assignments table. (If you don't see this link, you may need to click Show All Options.)

• When selecting or editing assignment content, click the Create New Question link.
