Using the Study Tools Page

You can create graded assignments from some of the same materials students access for self-study on their Study Tools page, however, there are a few differences:

Students with access permission for a book can usually work through all of its available online content directly from the Study Tools page. Depending on the book and your settings for any assigned chapters, students may be able to do some or all of the following:

Even though the work your students perform on the Study Tools page is ungraded, they are able to track their progress by clicking the Study Tools link on their Grades page. From this alternate view of the Grades page, students see the following details:

To access Study Tools content
  1. 1. Click the Study Tools link, if necessary, to open the Study Tools page.
  2. 2. If necessary, select the desired book or product link from the Textbook dropdown menu. (In some cases, you may simply click your eBook's title.)
  3. 3. Next, choose the content you would like to open by clicking the appropriate link or making your selection from a dropdown menu.
  4. The Study Tools content you selected may be displayed either on the current screen or in a new browser tab.
