Your instructor can assign Homework, Tests, Reading, Adaptive Study Plans, and other online activities through CengageNOWv2. Assignments can range from simple lists of multiple-choice questions, to complex equations or multi-entry forms, to reading an eBook chapter or visiting an external Web page. The types of assignments and questions you encounter will depend on the nature of your course, subject, and textbook content.
Some assignments offer resources, multimedia examples, and pop-up feedback windows to help guide you in developing your answers. Others may include personalized, interactive learning plans that are determined by results from a diagnostic quiz.
You can access all of the available online coursework your instructor assigns from your Assignments page. These can be graded assignments that report your score, or practice and reading assignments that track your progress. This information is then reported back to your instructor.

Assignments can have many other settings. For example, your instructor can allow you to leave an assignment and finish it later, assign a penalty for completing the assignment past the due date, or make an assignment available for extra credit only.
Although your primary concern for completing assignments is most often the due date, you may need to manage your assignments in other ways. The Assignments page gives you the flexibility to deal with your assignments your way.
