Using the Assignments Page

Use the Assignments page to manage the assignments for all your courses and sections. The Assignments page is directly available when you first log-in or you can access it by clicking the Assignments link when you are on any other main page in CengageNOWv2.

On the lower part of the page you can see a table listing your assignments. To sort the information by column, just click the appropriate heading. To reverse the sort order (ascending/descending), you can click the heading again.

Above the table are options you can use to control the contents of your Assignments page.

All Assignments

Clicking this link changes your view to display all of your assignments, regardless of their grading status, Due Date, or Unavailable Date.

This view needs to be selected to see information on any offline assignments your instructor is including in your CNOWv2 course score.

Assignments I Can Take Now

Click this link to view assignments that are currently available for you to take, resume, retake for a grade, or a tracked Reading assignment.

Assignments I Can Practice Now

Click this link to view only assignments that are currently available for you to take as ungraded review.

Note: Assignments that are never intended to be taken for a grade are labeled as (Not Graded) on your Assignments and Grades pages.

Course or Section

Use this dropdown menu to select one of three views for organizing the display of your courses and/or sections:

Select an individual course or section

Click a course or section name to list your assignments for that selection only. You can use the dropdown menu again to make a different selection.

All My Courses (Separated)

If you are enrolled in more than one course, this view lists assignments for all your CengageNOWv2 courses/sections in individual tables.

All My Courses (Merged)

If you are enrolled in more than one course, this view lists information for your assignments in all your CengageNOWv2 courses/sections merged into one table.
