Using the Courses Page
The Courses page provides you with an overview of your CengageNOWv2 courses and quick access to your assignments, syllabus, and grades. You can go to this page by clicking the Courses link when you are on any other main page in CengageNOWv2.
The Courses page lists all the CengageNOWv2 courses you are registered in, even those which do not yet have assignments. The course list displays columns for Course, Instructor, Course Grade, and a column of Go To links. Click any active column heading to sort the information in ascending or descending order.
- • Course. The name of your course or course section. You can click any name that's an active link to see the associated syllabus, if your instructor has made a syllabus available.
- • Instructor. Your course/section instructor's name.
- • Course Grade. Your total percentage score, to date, for your CengageNOWv2 assignments in this class.
- • Go To. Use these controls for quick access to your current grade information and pending tasks in other areas of CengageNOWv2.
- ° Assignments.
Takes you to your Assignments page. - ° Grades.
Takes you to your Grades page. - ° Syllabus.
Takes you to the course syllabus, if your instructor has provided you with one in CengageNOWv2.
This column can exclude any assignment results your instructor has chosen not to display, has not yet been manually graded, or is not viewable for other reasons. In these cases, you will see the message grades not viewable.
Note: Some courses provide a free trial period, which allows you to work in a course before you are required to purchase and submit an Access Code. The duration of the free trial is 1 day per week of your course, with a maximum of 14 days for new courses. There's a maximum of 3 days per week, up to 21 days for existing courses. The trial period begins on the course start date.
Your CengageBrain My Home page displays the remaining days in your free trial and provides options for purchasing an access code. If your trial period should expire, your work is saved but you will no longer be able to access that course.
