Using the Courses Page
You can use features on the Courses page to create new courses and sections, make copies of courses or sections, or use a Cengage course template to create a course with prebuilt assignments. The Courses page also provides a Folders pane where you can create folders for organizing your courses and sections.
In the Courses and Sections pane, you can customize which columns of information are used in the table by clicking the link to Change Information Displayed Below and opening the Courses Page Display Options page. See Setting Courses Page Display Options for more information.
Basic Courses Page Features
Courses and SectionsThis is the primary table on your Courses page. It displays information such as starting and ending dates, number of students enrolled, a list of actions, and the course or section number.
To differentiate between courses and sections, courses are indicated by a red "dot" appearing appended to their name, while sections are not marked. Any active column headings can be used to sort the table's contents. An arrow icon appears next to the heading to indicate if the sort order is ascending or descending. Simply click the heading again to reverse the order.
Note: You can use the Courses and Sections dropdown menu to access options to archive, copy, cut, and export your courses. See Using the Courses and Sections Manager for more details.
